The Bowling Green Falcons, in fact orange and brown, come from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. They have played in Doyt Perry Stadium since 1966 and the stadium holds about twenty-four thousand spectators. The team itself predates the stadium by about fifty years with their first season in 1919. Dave Clawson is the teamís current head coach and his first year at the school was a respectable start with seven wins and six losses for a winning season. Now, part of the Mid-American Conference, the team has a solid four hundred and eighty-three wins to three hundred and twenty-two losses and fifty-two ties.

In their postseason, the team has four wins and five losses in bowl games. They have claimed victory ten times for conference titles plus five in the Northwestern Ohio Intercollegiate Athletic Association. They have the rivals, the Toledo Rockets, Kent State Golden Flashes, and Miami Redhawks in Oxford, Ohio. The rivalry with the Redhawks was realized in a traditional movie fashion with a home game loss to them during a Mid American Conference Championship. The original coach of their Mid American debut, Doyt Perry, for whom the stadium is named, grabbed five of the teamís conference titles, as well as a string of the schoolís best football victories since.
