Originally started by the brother, Nick Jonas, the Jonas Brothers came together in 2005 to produce an album together under the Columbia label. After a short reconsideration of the group’s name, they resolved the original name was good as is. The members of the Jonas Brothers are all siblings and are Joe Jonas with lead vocals, Nick Jonas with vocals, and Kevin Jonas with backing vocals. The group has released four albums: It’s About Time in 2006, Jonas Brothers in 2007, A Little Bit Longer in 2008, and Lines, Vines and Trying Times in 2009. They’ve also appeared in many Disney films and are considered to be part of the Disney Franchise now considering their extensive involvement. They have been in nine movies to date with some as the main role and almost always as themselves or a fictional version of themselves. They were involved in Hannah Montana, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream, Camp Rock, Jonas Brothers: The 3d Concert Experience, Jonas L.A., Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, Minute to Win it, and I Get That a Lot. They are Evangelical Christians and make a point to wear their “purity rings” on their ring fingers at concerts.
