The Queen of Country aka Reba McEntire has been in the industry since 1977 with album after album being produced and releasing generally no more than two years apart. Starting with her self-titled album with Mercury Records and most recent album Keep On Loving You, she has gained multiple platinum, and multi platinum records over the course of her career. She is also an entrepreneur when she started Starstruck Entertainment which has investments in all of her music’s publicity and planning. The company also has stock in a horse farm, construction, trucking, book publishing, and a jet charter service, all of which are used to support her music career as best as possible. She has also taken an interest in television and movies by her several roles from The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw to The Singing Bee. Her first film was Tremors in 1990 and continued in Maverick, North, The Little Rascals, One Night at McCool’s, The Fox and the Hound 2, and most recently Charlotte’s Web as the voice of Betsy the Cow. She’s even done acting away from a camera and on the stage in the productions Annie Get Your Gun and South Pacific: In Concert from Carnegie Hall. She can also be seen on the Grand Ole Opry from her long relationship with the event. She is still producing albums and sometimes touring.
