The Rat Pack is Back

at Plaza Hotel- 1 S Main St, Las Vegas, NV‎ 89101

The Showgirl Must Go OnThe Rat Pack is Back is a show that relives the original Rat Pack who consists of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop, and Dean Martin. The Rat Pack won over audiences with their amazing musical styling’s and playful stage acting’s. In the 1960’s the Rat Pack brought fame and fortune to Las Vegas with both entertainment and gambling. Today it is a once in a life time opportunity to relive the vocal styling’s of the Rat Pack is Back as they show dedication to Frank, Sammy, Joey, and Dean. The showroom for this show is retroactive which sets the mood for the show before it even starts. Hanging from the ceiling are sparkling chandeliers which accent the room that is primarily red. This theater is different from all others in Las Vegas because it is the only one that offers an actual dinner option in the showroom. This option helps to recreate the authenticity of a dinner and a show Vegas experience that was common back in the earlier days in Las Vegas.

The only mandatory things for this show are drinking, gambling, and carousing which is told by the announcer before the show starts as thunder and lightening fill the theater. As the storm in the theater fades away the late Buddy Hackett says “I’m sending you back for one last show.” He continues to talk about how he wants to get all the guys back together for one last show, as he’s speaking there are clips on a large screen of old Vegas which includes the Sands. Shortly after the beginning introduction, the curtains open and the audience see the orchestra as they start to play a toe tapping musical and out come the three boys, Frank, Sammy, and Dean. They start singing and dancing as the audience lights up with positive energy and smiles. The three boys are played by Brian DuPrey, Kyle Diamond, and Johnny Edwards. Next Joey comes out and tells a few jokes and interacts with the crowd which brings much laughter to the showroom. So much is going on in the show the audience doesn’t even realize how much fun they are having.
