 Mesmerized
is a show put on by Marc Savard and it is said this comedy
is taken to another level of funny. Marc Savard has the
ability to hypnotize people he has never met before and he
makes them do very interesting and funny stuff they are not
expecting. Once the complete strangers that are also known
as the volunteers are hypnotized, Marc Savard does what ever
he wants with them and makes them do some pretty ridiculous
things. He is not the star of the show, the volunteers who
he hypnotizes are the stars of the show. Before the show
even starts Marc does a subconscious test to see who is in
the right mind set to be hypnotized, he will then tell the
possible volunteers the guidelines and tell them the most
important thing is they must have a fun personality. Savard
tries to get about twenty five people up on stage for the
show to be hypnotized. He says the more people the better
the entertainment.
One of the things Marc Savard tells them is they will awake
on his command and they are musicians playing with “Pride
and Pizzazz” in an orchestra. When they open their eyes they
immediately start playing an instrument like they are in an
orchestra. This will tell Marc which volunteers really are
hypnotized and which ones are not, the ones that are
actually hypnotized are ready for the rest of his show. He
will then make a final selection of eight volunteers and
proceeds with the show and onto another act. One of the
ladies that volunteered at one night show was so relaxed
that she ended up falling off her chair, this is truly an
amazing show. Marc Savard starts having the volunteers do
some pretty crazy things and each one is more wild than the
next as the volunteers are doing these things as if they
were the real deal. This in return gets a million endless
laughs from the audience.
Savard also has the volunteers do some wild and crazy things
such as making a male volunteer think he has jock itch when
he shakes his hand, this gets many peoples attention and
causes the audiences mouths to drop before they start
laughing uncontrollably. Savard then makes things step up a
notch after each scenario which leaves the audience in
disbelief. This comedy show is definitely something you
don’t wan to miss while on vacation in Las Vegas.
