 The
Legends in Concert is a show in Las Vegas that has been
successful for over twenty five years and is of course
located on the Strip. This show has only the best of the
best performers who act out as some of the most popular
entertainers in the world. Some of the performers that are
acted out as are Jay Leno, Barry White, Dolly Parton,
Madonna, The Temptations, and Elvis. If you never saw the
real Elvis in concert while he was still alive then Legends
in Concert is the best place to come see his acts. This is
the best place to see some of the world’s best talent in a
line up from individuals as impersonators along with the
characters they become. The most popular character in the
show is Jay Leno which is played by Marcel Forestieri. He is
the master of the show as he opens with a few jokes that are
from current events with the real Jay Leno, all of this
happens before announcing the first performer of the night,
Barry White. The impersonator of Barry White is Jourdan
Carroll who is very much alike the real Barry White with his
white beard and smile to his smooth deep voice. He first
comes out singing “You’re the First, the Last, My
Everything.” Before his last performance of singing “Can’t
Get Enough of Your Love, Babe” Carroll says “Your sweetness
is my weakness.”
There are many dancers on the stage with the performers as
well. The dancers give the show pizzazz and more
entertainment. There are many others spunky characters that
take the stage after Barry White with many famous songs
being performed. The Elvis Presley was played by Matt Lewis
which is also the final act of the night. When “Elvis” comes
out he is in an outfit from his earlier years and lewis’
voice sounds so much alike the real Elvis it’s remarkable.
At the end of his songs he says his famous saying, “Thank
you, than you very much.”
Legends in Concert is such a fun experience for everyone in
the family to see. These legendary performers on stage
during their prime singing and dancing in the same way they
did is remarkable and interesting. It has the whole audience
clapping and singing along.
