Spade is a comedian that is known for his
sarcastic and witty brand of humor. He shows
his sharp tongued stand up act while still
being in charming and down to earth self all
at the same time. David Spade makes the
audience feel very comfortable by coming out
in a baseball cap and jeans and telling his
jokes in a laid back, conversational style.
He makes you feel like you are listening to
one of your friends telling you funny jokes
instead of listening to a Hollywood star.
Spade mostly get his jokes from personal
anecdotes and tells them in first person.
He talks about mostly anything and
everything from his mother’s undying love of
Costco and his own experience with a scary
helicopter ride to his opinion on TV shows
like “Cops” and “Family Feud.” Spade also
finds humor in certain situations with the
good ole Sin City since he is getting to be
a regular in Las Vegas. He also likes to
crack jokes on his friends and how they brag
about their “high roller” status which
includes a free ticket on Southwest Airlines
and a limo ride from the airport to the
Strip, which is only a couple of miles. He
also likes to joke about how they are so
excited to go check out the “hot girls” at
the Hard Rock pool when “There’s nothing
there but 400 “Guido” dudes from New
Jersey.” Since he is in Las Vegas, Spade has
to joke about the expensive bottle service
trend and about being too old to go out to
the nightclubs when he is told by the
doorman when he shows up at 8PM, “Sir, we
don’t even open for nine hours.”
Spade just likes to talk about what is going
on in his life and add his own comedic twist
to it along with exaggerating the details of
the stories to them even more hilarious. He
tells a story about a recent ski trip to
Lake Tahoe and a trip to the zoo in his
hometown in Arizona. Even though Spade has
had many different successes on television
and film, he is still very humble on stage
as a live performer and appreciates his
audiences for coming to see him when they
could have been watching a match of jousting
at the Excalibur instead. This is a great
show for the family to relax and enjoy some
laughs while on vacation.
