at Planet Hollywood - 3667 Las Vegas Blvd South, - Las Vegas, NV 89109

Andrew Dice Clay at Planet Hollywood Andrew Dice Clay was originally born as Andrew Clay Silverstein on September 29, 1957. He was born in Brooklyn, New York. Andrew is known as an American actor and Comedian. He has performed for many different specials on TV such as HBO in Philadelphia that was called, “The Diceman Cometh,” which was set in 1989. His first featured film was in “The Adventures of Ford Fairlane” as Ford Fairlane in 1990. Andrew’s fame started to lessen slowly after this film, but in 2007 he attempted to come back in a reality TV series called “Dice: Undisputed.” Andrew was very controversial with his profanity and sexism that he was banned from MTV and boycotted by Sinead O’Connor and Nora Dunn. He then appeared on the reality TV series called “The Celebrity Apprentice 2” and was the first to be fired.

Andrew likes to refer to himself as the “Rocky of Comedy” as he made his name by shocking his audiences with his excessive profanity and jokes on iffy subjects. When Andrew comes out on stage he likes to talk discretely about the stage as he smokes a cigarette casually, before he spills into his opening routine. He is usually wearing a black leather jacket with his name “DICE” on the back of it. Most of his acts will end in his trademark phrases of “Dat’s what I think,” “Unbelievable,” and “Oooh!” Still until this day Andrew remains the only comedian that is banned from MTV for life. But in spite of that he is widely known as he went gold and its sequel called “The Day the Laughter Died” made the top 40. Andrew had become the first comedian to sell out Madison Square Garden two nights in a row.

His first DVD released was called “Andrew Dice Clay—No Apologies,” that showed him performing before a crowd at Long Island’s Westbury Music Fair. Not only does Andrew have a potty mouth, he is actually a very versatile and talented performer with acting roles that have proven that he can be funny without using profanity. Andrew’s acting career has really been picking up lately in the recent years in the films “My 5 Wives” and “One Night at McCool’s.” Andrew’s audiences demanded his stand up comedy still from Diceman and of course Andrew is happy to give his audiences what they want. He is always coming out with new jokes and material, so his audience needs to be ready for some fresh nursery rhymes when he takes the stage once again.
