Wynn Las Vegas Resort and Country Club has a luxury casino
included and is located on the Las Vegas Strip in what is
known as Paradise, Nevada. The resort is named after casino
developer Steve Wynn and is a 2.7 billion dollar resort. The
resort sits on 215 acres of land. The resort holds 2,716
rooms that range from 640 square feet to the villas that are
7,000 square feet. The casino is about 111,000 square feet
and the convention is 223,000 square feet.
It is adjacent to Encore which is also owned by
Steven Wynn. The Wynn Resort and Casino also includes a golf
course called Wynn Golf Course. It was formally known as the
Desert Inn Golf Course. An interesting fact to this resort
is there are no floors with the number 4 in it due to the
number 4 being an unlucky number to the Chinese culture. The
Wynn Resort and Casino is featured as a Top U.S. Hotel by
the Zagat Survey. The shows that are held here at The Wynn
are Le Reve, Avenue Q, Monty Python’s Spamalot, and Danny
Gans. The nightclubs in the resort are Tryst, XS, and Blush.
There are also many restaurants and shops at the resort for
people to enjoy a nice meal and some shopping in their spare
time.
The Wynn is very elegant with lagoons, waterfalls,
terraced landscapes, floor to ceiling windows, and skylights
all throughout the resort. Included in the casino at The
Wynn are more than 1,900 slot machines, 26 table poker room,
and a wide variety of table games. The room amenities at The
Wynn include European linens, flat screen televisions in the
living and bathroom areas, high speed internet access and
much more. There are two main pools at The Wynn Resort and
Casino along with many smaller pools and Jacuzzis. Of course
we can’t forget the European sunbathing pool area that is
also available.
The attractions at the resort include the Penske
Wynn Ferrari Maserati and an 18 hole championship golf
course. From certain spots in the resort, guests can see on
the other side of the man made mountain which reveals a
mammoth curtain waterfall that falls into the 3 acre lake
called the Lake of Dreams. The Lake of Dreams has a nightly
light, music, and multimedia show that guests can enjoy
while sipping on cocktails.
