Tropicana Hotel and Casino has been a landmark for over 50
years. This hotel is known to bring a little touch of old
school charm to the Las Vegas Strip. Tropicana has over
1,800 rooms that are very spacious and affordable. There are
different towers and rooms at Tropicana such as The Paradise
Tower, The Island Tower, and The Garden Rooms. The Paradise
Tower is decorated with ornamental plaster ceilings and dark
wooden crown moldings along with a couch, desk, and a
refrigerator.
The Island Tower is more adventurous with a
bamboo styled headboards, many mirrors and a Roman tub. The
Garden Rooms are decorated with floral comforters and a
private balcony. All the rooms have an iron and ironing
board, hairdryers and safes included. A lot of the guests
are drawn to the tropical pool paradise the Tropicana
provides. There are three swimming pools and whirlpools,
cascading waterfalls, and lush foliage that all sit on a
total of five acres.
During the summer season the pools have swim up
blackjack tables for guests to participate in the gaming all
while relaxing and soaking up the sun. The pool also has a
swim up bar for those who would like to sip on a drink in
the water as well. Also included at this tropical paradise
hotel called Tropicana are unique shops, six restaurants, a
tropical themed wedding chapel, convention centers, exhibit
space, and a styling salon and barber shop. When the
Tropicana first opened it was known as the “Tiffany of the
Strip” due to the fact that it was so elegant. Today it is a
reminder to people of the conveniences and pleasures of
modern day.
The casino in the Tropicana is 61,000 square
feet and includes Let it Ride, Caribbean Stud, Pai Gow, Pai
Gow Poker, Craps, Blackjack, Roulette, and Slot machines.
Tropicana does have a free shuttle to and from the airport
along with to the famous Las Vegas Strip.
