MGM Grand Las Vegas

MGM Grand truly is a grand hotel with not only its size but all of the offers as well. It is located at one of the busiest intersection in Las Vegas and gives a world of entertainment, dining and unwinding no matter if its day or night. Outside of the hotel is the landmark for the hotel which is the 100,000 pound, 45 foot tall bronze lion statue that is on top of a 25 foot pedestal. This is the largest bronze statue in the U. S. and it surrounded by lush landscaping, LED screens, and water fountains.

The grandness continues inside of the hotel with 5,044 rooms in four 30 story towers, over a dozen restaurants, and more than 170,000 square feet of gaming action. There is also tourist attractions on property such as a zoo with a Lion Habitat, a television studio called CBS Television City Research Center, and a water park that has a 1,000 foot long lazy river at the 27,000 square foot pool complex.

There are many different accommodations just like the different offerings the resort has. The Tower and Bungalow rooms are very spacious with modern decorations and amenities. The Celebrity Spa Suites have whirlpool tubs and large bedrooms. The suites also have outside entrances for easy access from the Strip. On the West Wing of the resort the rooms have high end amenities including flat screen televisions, DVD players and Bose Wave radios.

On the top two floors of the MGM Grand is a hotel within a hotel that caters to the sophisticated travelers and is known as Skylofts. It has service that caters to their specific needs along with 24 hours butler service. The casino at the MGM Grand includes blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, and many slots and poker machines. There is also keno, a Baccarat Lounge and high limit slots. There is a poker room that is very large and modern and a race and sports book that has private sky boxes.

The dining at MGM Grand includes Craftsteak, Seablue, Fiamma Trattoria, Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House, Nobhill, and Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill. There is a choice for everyone’s taste buds. The entertainment at MGM Grand includes MGM Grand’s Crazy Horse Paris which is performed in a theater that is decorated just like the famed Parisian cabaret. KA which is one of the Cirque du Soleil shows also takes place on a very unique stage that floats, rotates, twists, and turns. In the MGM Grand Garden Arena there is a show with some rock n roll’s greatest hits such as the Rolling Stones and U2. There are also many boxing events that take place at MGM Grand as well.

Guests can’t forget the nightlife at MGM Grand with Studio 54 and Tabu where the drinks and music are always flowing.
