at The Palazzo - 3255 Las Vegas Blvd. South Las Vegas, NV 89109

Table 10 at The Palazzo "The Palazzo is a Five Diamond luxury hotel and casino resort. The Las Vegas Sands Corporation is what owns and operates this hotel. Currently, this hotel is known as the largest building in the terms of available floor space in the Western Hemisphere. Some of the hotel opened to the public on December 30, 2007 but the grand opening was on January 17, 2008.

The resort was a 1.8 billion dollar project and when guests enter the lobby they arrive beneath a 60 foot glass dome with a two story fountain. The guests that are entering the resort from the Venetian come through a towering octagonal structure that is topped with a glass and iron dome as well. Visitors entering from the under ground garage will come up on either elevators or escalators and will come up in the middle of the property’s casino.

This resort is actually an extension of the Venetian Casino Resort and the Sands Expo. There is a 270 unit condominium tower that is another addition called The St. Regis Residences at The Palazzo and it will be the first residential offerings at The Venetian complex but is still under construction. Inside the Palazzo is the Lamborghini Las Vegas which is the second authorized dealer in the Las Vegas area. It has a display of exotic automobiles which include Lamborghini, Bugatti, Spyker, Saleen, and koenigsegg.

The showroom is 20,000 square feet and is decorated with Italian imported marble and tile floors, rich leather, and artwork. Anyone who wants to visit the showroom but isn’t a buyer has to pay an admission of 10 dollars except for children five years or younger who are free with a paying adult. The Shoppes at the Palazzo include Van Cleef & Arpels, Jimmy Choo, Piaget, Diane von Furstenberg, Chloe, Christian louboutin, Catherine Malandrino, Anya Hindmarch, Charriol, and many others. There is also an 85,000 sqaure foot Barneys New York.

The Palazzo has been in a few films such as Ocean’s Thirteen when it was under construction along with The Discovery Channel’s Extreme Engineering. It was the shooting location for MTV’s The Hills for a few scenes in the third season, and the hotel is the main location in the final novel in the Vegas book series of Palazzo, where American currency is attempted to be transferred to Milan, Italy for drugs. The suites at the Palazzo are decorated with a modern European design and are conveniently fashioned for guests comfort. As for the casino part of the resort, it has state of the art technology and sophisticated glamour.

There are Table Games, Slots, and a Race and Sports Book. The entertainment part of the resort includes Carnival of Cuisine, Joan Rivers Live at The Venetian, Vineyards of Style, Jersey Boys, Double Helix Wine Bar, Lavo Nightclub, The Lounge at Dos Caminos, Salute Lounge, and of course Entertainment at The Venetian. The Palazzo is a great place to stay when vacationing in Las Vegas.
