The Showgirl Must Go OnWith thousands of pine trees throughout the property, this club hints of the Carolinas experience with white sandy bunkers and rising green fairways, while half the holes have water hazards that make this game so interesting. Located just 10 minutes from Vegas, this handy course plays with every club in your bag and gives you the distinct feeling of having played a great game. Adding to the excitement and enjoyable play are four lakes interspersed through the course. The clubhouse rents Callaway clubs and Footjoy shoes with all the great golfing clothes and accessories available for you. The Duffers Restaurant serves breakfast and lunch with a cart going out on the course. The practice center has heat or air conditioning with an automated ball delivery system and 5 target greens which bear similarities to some of this country's best par 3, 17th holes. Lit in the evening for catch up or practice, it also has a teaching academy with instructors from the Walters Golf Academy. It is a public course and inexpensive for this area. Designed by Perry Dye and opened in 1997, the club has a pro available for help, carts included in the green fee and a driving range. Golf Digest has named this one of the best new upscale courses in the country. The 6810 yard par 71 course includes over 60 sand bunkers and is lined with 4000 pine trees which help keep the hot sun off you during the times you are by them.

There are 4 par 3s between 156 and 252 yards long with the 18th hole 189 yard surrounded by water halfway, on the right and bunkers to the front and left. The 3 par 5s aren't too long, just tight. The third is 535 yards going downhill with sand around the bottom left and a pond 150 yards off the tee that can intimidate some, especially since it heads all the way up to the green. The par 4s are the average with 3 under 341 yards and 6 over 425 yards. The last hole on each nine is considered to be the worst and the first is the 467 yard par 4 with 2 bunkers on the left as it doglegs to the right, and a lake 140 yards out that goes until the green, which it double tiered. The lake goes halfway round the green on the right with large bunkers on both sides where the lake isn't; making this a very tough par 4. The 18th isn't much better, a par 4, 466 yard hole with lake on the left up to the double tiered green and large bunker to the left off the tee. At the green, besides the lake, bunkers are on both sides making sure you hit square in the center of the fairway.

A double tiered practice and teaching area includes 58 stall covered to get you in the swing of it and is heated in the winter to keep the joints loose. Because of the heaters and misters in the summer, this is considered to be one of the best practice ranges in the city. A golf pro is also available for help if you should require it and ready for advice to those that are interested.
