 The
Bette Midler show in Las Vegas is held in the Colosseum and
is going to be her own version of Caesars Palace shows. The
Bette Midler Show plays five nights a week for at least the
next two years. This show is expected to bring many people
in from the Caesars Palace as well as many other hotels
along the Las Vegas Strip. This show will have singing along
with dancing and a comedy act as well.
Everyone knows Bette Midler’s biography, it has been long
known that she is a singer that started her career in the
1970’s with her first album called “The Divine Miss M”. This
first album won Bette Midler her first Grammy award. Midler
has also won two more Grammys after that. This is not the
end for Midler, this show in Las Vegas is said to be her
best and biggest performance. Bette Midler also has backup
singing in the show with her traditional backup trio called
the Harlettes. The Harlettes have been in the Bette Midler
Live shows for many years. The backup trio just adds even
more pizzazz to what is said to be the most exciting Caesars
Palace Shows in Colosseum history.
Bette Midler is a sixty one year old that lives in New York
City but was born in New Jersey and raised in Hawaii. She
has entertained fans for over forty years with her
enthusiastic high energy performances. Bette Midler and her
good friend Barry Manilow performed together in the bath
houses in New York City. Midler says this show is going to
be a big step for her but she plans on it being a great
success with many laughs. In the show there will be
showgirls with feathers and sparkle and of course some
nudity. It’s just not Las Vegas without the Showgirls.
Midler is very happy to be settling in one spot rather than
getting up and moving to another spot every night. She loves
her show and is very excited to be in Vegas along with
making people laugh. She said it is going to be great fun.
