Having
the title of one of the world's
top coaster is hard to live up
to, but after taking a spin on
this monster of a coaster you'll
soon realize that this is more
than just your average amusement
ride. As you enter the park, the
titanic piece of green twisted
metal is the first thing you'd
see off to your left. Once you
get to the
crossroads between Marvel Superhero
Island® and Suess LandingTM, the temptation
of The Incredible Hulk Coaster® will
magnetize you to the left. Cross
the bridge onto the first island
and hang a left where you'll soon
run into the roller coaster's queue.
As you wait for your chance
at the coaster, you'll find yourself
waiting in Mr. Bruce Banner's laboratory
where tests are being run on unstable
gamma rays as Banner tries to find
a way to reverse the rays' effects.
No sooner than when you first hopped
in line, an operator will be assisting
you into your chair, strapping you
in for a wild ride. Bruce Banner
is
loading you into the gamma ray booster,
getting ready to make a breakthrough
in his experiment. Unfortunately,
something has gone terribly wrong,
and a warning is set off for its
instability. Just before you leave,
the Hulk emerges from Bruce, leaving
you strapped in for an adventure
through 3,700 feet, 2 1/4 minutes,
and seven inversions of insanity.

To
start off with a kick, the Hulk
shoots you from 0 to 40 MPH in just
about two seconds, pressing you
to your seat. But just as soon as
you feel sucked into your chair,
there is a sudden feeling of weightlessness
as you enter a zero gravity flip
straight down 105 feet. Guests are
then sent up once again into a stomach-turning
cobra roll. After turning into another
loop, you'll take a trip under the
bridge you cross to get onto Marvel
Super Hero Island®. Once you emerge
from the smoke, the coaster takes
a trip around the gamma ray tube
you originally shot out of. A corkscrew
roll comes right after this.
What
makes this ride so interesting is
that you think the ride is over
when it slows down at what looks
to be a small docking station, but
this is only the halfway point.
You are soon sent into another series
of twists and turns where, just
before you REALLY end, a picture
is taken of you in the middle of
your experience of The Incredible
Hulk Coaster®. Not too long after
this, your adventure ends, and you
are free to get out of Banner's
crazy experiment.
One of
the most exciting rides in the world,
The Incredible Hulk Coaster® is easily
one of the best rides in Universal's
Islands of Adventure. You will definitely
regret it if you don't take a trip
on this coaster. Once you step off,
you'll feel a sense of weightlessness,
but as you look up at what you experience,
you'll want to get back on for more.
