to soak you to the bone. Easy to
find, Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls® is pleasantly
placed in Toon Lagoon in Universal’s
Islands of Adventure®. You’re up
for a wacky ride as Dudley goes
on yet another mission to save the
damsel in distress (Nell Fenwick)
from the evil Snidley Whiplash.
As you get wait in line,
there are plenty of things to keep
you entertained. You can hear the
people already on the ride go rushing
above your head or when you get
inside you can listen to the animals
talking to you on the wall. When
it's your turn, you’ll step inside
your ‘log’ and watch a short clip
of Dudley Do-Right so you know the
story behind the ride. Each log
seats 5 people comfortably, so you
can experience the ride with the
whole family.

The
ride has three main parts or drops
where you are sure to get wet. As
you travel through a mine and lumber
mill you’ll see that Dudley continues
to race after his crush Nell on
his Horse. Eventually the final
75 foot drop comes where you shoot
through an exploding mine shack!
In the end, everyone’s favorite
Canadian Mountie saves the girl,
but you’ll come to find that he
doesn’t quite win her heart because
she is more interested in his Horse.
I absolutely love this ride.
The line really seems to fly by
with how fast people are sent off
on their adventure. But when it
comes down to it, this is sure fun
for the whole family and will certainly
cool you off if you decide to come
on a hot summer day. From the line
area with its gag posters to the
final drop, Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls® is one
of the best rides in Universal’s
Islands of Adventure®. Hang on though,
because this is one wild ride.
