Bay Lake Beach:
Come out to Bay Lake to watch a memorable sunset by the
calm waters. Its a perfect change of scene from the hectic
parks and we urge guests to stop by here at least once in
their stay.
Fishing:
Take the kids on a wonderful fishing trip to kill several
hours of your day. This is Disney so the fish will
"magically" be willing to bite at the bait. Unfortunately it
is catch and release only so you won't be able to grill any
of the many fish your kids will reel in.
Cub's Den:
Open
from 5PM to midnight, this is the perfect place to drop off
the kids for a quiet night to yourselves. Children will be
entertained with delicious snacks, games, storytelling,
games, and Disney movies. The ages accepted are from 4-12 so
be sure to set reservations prior to checking in.
Chip'n Dale's Campfire Sing-a-long:
Experience a
wonderful campfire packed with songs and great fun at Chip'n
Dale's. Roast marshmallows and tell stories to the group and
afterwards watch a Disney movie under the stars. A great
activity that cannot be found at other resorts. |
Buttons & Bells Arcade:
Children
will simply have a ball at this arcade which has the best in
video and pinball games. They can play to their hearts
desire in the 24 hour state-of-the-art venue.
Pools:
Silver Creek
is one of the must-see's of the Wilderness Lodge. Equipped
with a pool slide, nearby hot tub and kiddie pool, its
guaranteed fun for the whole family. Swim along the rock
landscaping and possibly see the hourly geyser spit water
high into the air.
Bike Rentals:
Go on an exciting adventure along scenic bike trails of the
Wilderness Resort. Your whole party even receive a great
workout during the ride. A great activity during a break
from the parks.
Children's Playground:
Aside from Cub's Den and Buttons & Bells Arcade, it is
simply a must to have the children spend time at the
Playground. They could have fun for hours on some of the all
time playground favorites with slides. For safety the
minimum ages starts at 4 so younger children can only watch. |
Sturdy Branches Health Club:
Get a work-out while on vacation with cardio and strength
equipment, free weights, massages, and personal trainers
available through appointments. Hours are 6AM to 8PM so
scheduling can be easy for guests.
Video Rentals:
Rent a movie at the Wilderness Lodge Mercantile to watch in
the comfort of your resort room. There is nothing more
perfect than a morning matinee' before getting out of bed or
after a dinner at one of the resort restaurants.
Horse-Drawn Excursions:
One of the best experiences in the whole Disney resort are
the horse excursions. Take the whole family for a 30 minute
ride in the scenic backwoods of the resort. Carriages can
accommodate two adults and three children and the excursions
are done each night until 10:00PM
Watercraft Rentals:
Get into some action on Crescent lake with a pontoon boat,
canopy boat, a sea ray, or a specialty cruise. The rentals
require a fee but the best time is during the fall to catch
the sunset on the calm waters. |
