Pools: The Beach Pool, with its zero depth entry, has some great waterfalls, Jacuzzi and waterslide to keep all the family cool and having fun all day long. The courtyard pool is more laidback and quiet giving parents a chance to relax and watch their little ones in the kiddies pool right next to it. The water is clear, clean and refreshing as well as very inviting on those hot Florida days where the best place to be is in the water.

Beach: If getting a tan and relaxing in the sand while your children make sand castles then the beach by the Grand Floridian by the Seven Seas Lagoon is the place for you.

Grand Floridian Spa & Health Club The Spa and Health Club at the Grand Floridian are just as elaborate and beautiful as the rest of the hotel and resort. This world-class spa boasts of invigorating body treatments, water therapies, skincare and massages that will explode the sensations of your body, mind and spirit. They have special packages that will thrill your whole being pampering you like a little baby. And in the health club, the equipment is the newest and finest state of the art toning tools that will sculpt your frame into the perfect person you are.

Mouseketeer Club: Remember the Mouseketeers? Here in the Musketeer club at the Grand Floridian, your children can relive some of those golden moments and wonderful childhood experiences with Disney staff that will keep them lively, laughing and having the most fun from 4:30 PM until midnight while the parents enjoy some time by themselves indulging in whatever activities they cherish, especially some memorable moments by themselves in this magical place.

Arcade: At Gasparilla's Grill and games, this 24 hour arcade and snack shop will keep the whole family or the older ones happy indulging in their favorite video games or pinball machines. The snack shop will keep their fires burning with all the energy they need to conquer their skills.

Watercraft Rentals You can rent a sea raycer, pontoon boat or canopy boat to cruise the Lagoon or get really extravagant with the Grand 1, a 48 foot Sea Ray yacht that holds a crew of 13, with Bose sound system, galley with microwave, 3 completely furnished staterooms in an A/C environment that will help you have the best party ever.

Tennis: Tennis is available and lessons also, but bring your own equipment please.

Disney's Pirate Adventure:  For a really adventurous time, this excursion will have your children talking for weeks about the Pirate adventure at the Grand Floridian. With pirate hats and Disney ears, bandannas and lingo, your children will board a boat flying the Jolly Roger and search the lagoon and Bay Lake for buried treasure with the many clues given along the way. A very enjoyable time for children 4-12 where they will interact with kids their age in a fun adventure to remember.

Jogging Trail: A gorgeous trail winding through the property for a mile will give you a great chance to jog, run or walk away any tensions or problems with lush tropical views and scenery.

Character Dining

Breakfast at the Grand Floridian is a very special occasion for children; as Mar Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter and other characters from the Wonderland story come to spend time at the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast. This mad cap affair will delight your children as they eat breakfast of Mickey's waffles, bacon, eggs, breads, fruits, juices and omelets made just for them. In the afternoon, the characters return for a Wonderland Tea Party that includes fruits, heart-shaped jelly and peanut butter sandwiches, turkey and cheese sandwiches, games, stories and loads of fun. They will decorate cupcakes and then enjoy them with the great friends and drink tea that tastes a lot like apple juice. Dinner here is very special with Cinderella, Prince Charming and other Disney characters as they partake in the Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner with entrees of carved beef and salmon.

One of the most exhilarating moments of your dining experience here will include the nightly fireworks show from the Magic Kingdom. At this Victorian seafood restaurant by the waters of the Seven Seas Lagoon, the emphasis is definitely on freshness. Steamed Maine Lobsters, grilled wild king salmon, seared grilled scallops and crab-crusted halibut is sure to fulfill your fantasies of excellent seafood, with chicken breast, filet mignon and fresh vegetables to the side, this dining explosion will satisfy your best culinary tastes. Save room for the desserts like almond-crusted cheesecake with Lambert cherry sauce or the coconut-mango panna cotta that will melt in your mouth with the most extreme satisfaction.

Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, buffet or a la carte; this Victorian styled restaurant is a special place to take the whole family to enjoy great food prepared by the best Disney chefs. Some of the breakfast entrees include; an American breakfast with eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and potatoes; eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon; Maple-Vanilla French toast, southern style breakfast with smoked ham, scrambled eggs, biscuits and biscuits and gravy; steak and eggs, and a three egg omelet make with all your favorite ingredients. Lunch is equally appetizing with Caesar salads, cafe salad, French onion soup or soup of the day, crab cakes for appetizers; angus chuck cheeseburger, fish of the day by chef's recommendation, cobb salad, Rueben sandwich, the Grand sandwich and more with desserts and drinks. The dinner selections will take amply care of your culinary desires as well with shrimp and prosciutto penne pasta, prime rib, new York strip, land and sea, fish of the day and Angus chuck cheeseburger, with all the fixings.
