You get the chance to visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom before everyone else does. They also give you a behind the scenes tours so you get to witness the heart of the Disney magic!

Most of the rooms on Disney property are above the normal bar but these are very unique. Everything in the room is made of light bamboo and a mixture of light greens and dark brown colorations. The hallways are also unique; every room number has a different design so that you can remember what room you are in. There are also several artifacts that line the intersections of the hall ways. From the lobby all of the rooms span out from there. The hall ways are hidden and shaped like caves. This adds to the nomadic spirit that is very present here. Even the pool is a representation of the African culture that this hotel symbolizes.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is a mixture of Northern and Southern African culture. This culture clash has created one of the most unique resort hotels that has ever been seen in the United States. There is no place in America where you can wake up in the morning and see a giraffe right outside of you window! This can really make your stay at Disney magical. As soon as you enter through the security gates you will get a sense that you are not in Florida. You may feel that you have entered into a remote section of the African Savanna. Really you are just minutes away from all of the action. In the morning you can step out on you balcony with a cup of complementary Kenyan coffee and watch the mysterious animals of the savanna. You can see everything from giraffes, elephants, zebras, and many other animals that are native to the African plains. These grazing animals are very happy here because there are no predators on the premises to make them skittish towards other creatures. Most of the animals have lost there sense of territory, this also lowers there temperament there for making them more docile than they are in the wild.
