Created in 1984 by one time street performer and visionary Guy Laliberte, Cirque has gained unparalleled acclaim with astonishing, high energy shows performed at theaters and on tour around the world. A stunning blend of circus art and street entertainment, Cirque captivates with a dazzling array of outrageous costumes, magical lighting and fantastically original sets and music presented in a state-or-the-art venue. Seventy two artists from around the world take part in this exciting new production. There are NO animals in the show and it is NOT a dinner show.

The Theatre: State-of-the-Art theatre combines the feel of a great European performance hall in a structure resembling a giant circus tent towering 160 feet. An inspiring cylindrical structure with metal towers soaring 160 feet in height, this 73,800 sq ft. showroom conveys the look and atmosphere of a gigantic circus tent with seating for over 1600 guests. There's not a bad seat in the house.

The Stage measures 173 feet by 112 feet and features state-of-the-art equipment and special effects. The theatre is filled with special effects and stages that rise and fall during unique avant-garde theatrical performances. Disney Circus

Shopping is available at the Cirque du Soleil� Boutique, located at the plaza level of the building, and at the two sales counters in the lobby. Guests must arrive at least an half-hour before selected show time. There is a pre-show 30 minutes before the show. Length of show is 90 minutes. No intermission during the show. No photography or videotaping is allowed.

"Cirque du Soleil La Nouba is a magnificent extravaganza for the family" - This show was an unabated assault on your senses from the time that we arrived to the time of the last stunt. Though the show, there were amazing feats of creativity that left us dazzled after the show. Category 2 seating gave us a more that adequate view of the whole stage. Every note was clear and sharp due to the dynamic acoustics in the house. Image a live orchestra while hundreds of actors are balancing on chairs, swinging from trapezes, dancing on high wires, cycling around and flying through the air. One act in particular was these beautiful little Chinese girls who tumble and juggle large spools upon thin threads of rope on sticks. It was astounding to see what these Chinese girls could do with those spools, bending their bodies through all different contorted positions. Cirque du Soleil was well worth the time spent watching the show.

"Cirque du Soleil was a tremendous, exhilarating feast for the eyes" - The permanent location of Cirque du Soleil is located on Walt Disney World Resort property in Orlando. La Nouba gels into ambition, joy, clowns, lights, stunts, sparkles, music, and talent. Although many think that it is a bit pricey, I think it was worth every penny. While watching we felt the sense of ambition, hope and joy swelling up inside, it was surreal to say the least. If you like clowns, you'll see a plethora of them in white , with big red noses and floppy shoes. We acrobats performing on German Wheels, bicycles, trampolines, high wires, and chairs stack high up. These were class action type acrobats that you might expect in the Ringling Barnum & Bailey Circus. This European performance hall resembles a giant circus tent with cylindrical structures and towers soaring 160 ft into the air. The length of the show lasted 90 minutes and we arrived about one half hour early for the pre-show.

It's simply not possible to describe the magnificence of Cirque du Soleil La Nouba. You'll have to experience it to truly believe it.
