Few people know of the legend behind the theme of Blizzard Beach. Old Folk tales have it that a sudden phenomenon occurred over a snow-ski resort and immediately temperatures soared to abnormal levels. Suddenly, icy slopes began to melt creating the tallest and fastest down-hill slides in the world.

Imagine being in the middle of a tropical lagoon, nestled in a northern ski resort in the mountains. Hop aboard a bobsled ride down the snowy slopes of Mt. Gushmore that plunges straight down at 60 mph Dare to ride the newest waterslide where guests can race down a two hundred foot long slide at 25 mph!! Ride the Downhill Double Dipper as it twists and turns before shooting out of a curtain of water.
